waterproof jacket - giacca impermeabile

-Now that winter is coming and rain is much more frequent than in this past summer I'm venturing into an unexplored field. I decided to buy a waterproof jacket which could be at the same time comfortable and useful, with adequate protections and a look which wasn't too technical. I don't wanna look as a biker whose bike is being repaired and so rides a Vespa. It's a tough MotoOne JC104 Cordura jacket with internal membrane, protections on the shoulders, the elbows and forearms and a neoprene pad on the back. It features reflective 3M strips, waterproof zips and pockets and has the shape and fit of a classic parka though being more rigid and less fashionable but much more useful. I don't care about looking like "a real Mod" but I care not to be drenched by a sudden shower and consequently get a bad cold as I'm used to get in these occasions. I won't leave my Bug in the car box this winter, this is for sure!
Last minute update: I hadn't finished writing this post, yesterday, and the sky turned black; in half a hour it was heavily raining and I had to go home... the result? I rode 20km under uncertain weather conditions till I got home and not a single drop had passed my jacket and the weatherproof trousers. I'm ready!
