La stagione calda - The warm season

So it's back, and with it my commutes to and from Versilia have started again. The Chuggabug inaugurated the riding season with a new pair of tyres and moving towards its first mandatory service. As it wasn't enough, aside from the kilometers ridden to reach Querceta and come back home, on saturday we enjoyed a ride around Massaciuccoli lake and the Vecchiano flat. The lake ia a weird place, scattered with gravel roads which line infinite reclaimed land where the ground quickly changes from black to white and where the water level. because of the locks, ain't never where you might exactly think it should be.
So the weekend ended with a return at dusk, 365 kilometers under the saddle and a nice satisfaction. It seems that next weekend, the Easter weekend, will be grey and rainy; it's maybe a good chance to plan some summer ride.
Vecchiano Flat ;-)

  2. Mille grazie for sharing your wonderful pictures, and writing in English. My Italian is very 'rusty' from not using it.
