Gimme a positron weapon

"Sunday driver never took a test
Once upon a time in the West"

[Dire Straits]

Oggi odio tutti. I sussulti peggiorano l'umore.
AIUTO.

Today I hate everyone. Not really everyone, just the box drivers; as you might have guessed I had to leave the Vespa at home and drive my car to work and this always provokes hysterical crisis, overbloating rage, sudden wrath and ridiculous moments during which I shout like a madman into the vehicle with the vain hope that things might get better. I still haven't left the town and a stupid before me decides to enter the road hanging immediately after having reached the speed-up lane, leaving me in the middle of the road with a car approaching... first fuck-off. I shout it, obviously. I flash the front light shouting insults but all this can't distract him from his heavenly stupidity. The queue to reach the province road forces me to drive at the insane speed of 25 km/h for infinite miles just because there's a speed meter shooting pictures over 50. Another fuck-off, shouted out loud as well. I'm shouting fuck-off alone into the box and it doesn't turn things better. People enter the road as they were into their damn living rooms, I'm continuously braking to avoid accidents; the holes in the asphalt which I usually and easily dodge when I ride my Vespa are a nightmare to a car driver because they always come in couples and to dodge one on the right you hit another one with your left tires. All these bumps help in getting me upset. Then I find a bitch who succeeds in tracing a wide carve slaloming, apparently because she's trying to take notes upon her steering wheel, while driving; it's just a few minutes after, while overtaking her, that I realize she's eating an incredibly huge piece of schiacciata (a widespread flat and salted oily bread) trying to drive, unwrap it and eat it at the very same time, while steering and shifting gears.
HELP.
I wanna destroy them, give me a positron weapon. Damn box drivers I wanna burn you down to ashes.
Then - shit - just today that I drive a car, what do I cross? A red spot is approaching me and as it gets closer I realize it's a vintage Vespa PX, in its so typical faded red. And it's got a sidecar! Goddamn me, it's won-der-ful and I can't lower the glass to give him the two-finger biker's salute, a friendly greeting among Vespa riders, he'd think I'm mad. It simply shouldn't have happened today, it's a torture, a damn fucking torture.
I think I'll need a beer for lunch, a Tennents Super strong lager; I'm not going to drive this afternoon, that's it. Only the Gods know who I might knock down sneering terribly...

  1. And this is the reason why I can NOT become licensed to drive in this country. I cannot stand the lack of common sense and courtesy to other drivers and it took me a long time to resist reaching over to pound on the clacson when my husband is at the wheel (already a dangerous thing to do when one is driving!).

If I could, I would give you all of the positron weapons that you wanted. Unfortunately it would never be enough, because the world is full of pirate della strade.

  2. ... Caro Ale,

  4. Ro: I can try and understand you; driving in Hawaii Islands must be pretty more relaxing!

Demonio: I usually like, instead, riding under a heavy rain. It's kinda relaxing, just don't know why.
