Festeggiando lungo la SS1 "Aurelia Freeway". Cosa si festeggia? Ma è ovvio, l'Insetto di nuovo sulla strada. Ormai è tornato stabilmente in funzione dopo la riparazione del mese scorso, la membrana del carburatore è stata sostituita e sono tornato felicemente a toccare i 105 km/h. Oggi, con l'occasione di visitare un cantiere a Lorenzana, ho approfittato per accompagnare Elena fino a Livorno, dove ha preso il treno per tornare a casa, e da lì ho percorso l'usuale via del Littorale fermandomi di tanto in tanto per scattare una foto. Quella in apertura è Castiglioncello. 230 km totali nell'arco della giornata che sanciscono il ritorno ufficiale dell'Insetto Scoppiettante sulle strade labroniche!

Celebrating along SS1 "Aurelia Freeway". What do I celebrate? Obvious: the Chuggabug is back on the road. Now it's definitely in good working condition after the last fix of one month ago; the carburettor's membrane has been replaced and I happily hit 65 mph again! Today, as I had to visit a construction site in Lorenzana, I took the chance to bring Elena to Livorno, where she got on the train back home, and starting from there I rode the usual road "del Littorale" stopping now and then to shoot a photograph. The first one was shot in Castiglioncello. 230 total km in one day which ratify the official return of the Chuggabug on Livorno province's roads!
