Gelo - Frost

It might have been mentioning Robert Frost in my last post and commenting on my fellow rider Steve's blog about our weather which never freezes, to generate this situation. This morning every single kilometer between home and the office were covered with frost; frost on the straight lines, frost on the bends, frost on the side of the road and also on the beach. A perfect occasion to ride the Chuggabug in extreme conditions and see how it behaves. Next time if I'd happen to unexpectedly find a frozen road, I'll know what to do. Low speed, low center of mass, carefulness and balance.
As for the rest, well, the show was priceless. Crystallized grass, the snowy beach, the steaming trees and bushes and everything glittering under such a sun and a blue sky which seem to be painted. I've never seen mastics frozen and it's a pity I hadn't a Fuji Velvia roll with me to shoot some better photographs but I actually don't care much. This is acquired experience, and it's enough.

  3. Beautiful photos and landscape. Looks like a scooter rider's paradise even with the cold frosty weather.

Just grey with lots of snow here. Looking forward to frost, a sign of spring!

  4. ahahah, yes, this is a nice place to ride, but this very road has become *so* usual to me that it needed an exceptional event like this frost to make me blog about it! :-)
grey and snow... mmmh, I fear I wouldn't be able to front this kind of riding conditions, though I'm always fascinated by your pictures and PA woods.

Don't worry, we'll both ride pleasantly, soon!
