Corsica: mare

La Corsica, nell'immaginario collettivo, è soprattutto mare. In effetti il sud della Corsica, tra Porto Vecchio e Sarténe, ci ha lasciati a bocca aperta. Il mare è bellissimo, il vento tira forte (fin troppo, visto che in una giornata di vento a 100 km/h abbiamo dovuto legare la Vespa a due alberi, per sicurezza) e il mare spumeggia. Decisamente diverso dalle molli vacanze lungo le piatte spiagge adriatiche. Molto vicino a quello che chiamo mare, a casa mia.

Corse, in collective imagination, is mainly seaside. As a matter of fact south Corse, between Porto Vecchio and Sarténe, left us agape. The seaside is wonderful, the wind blows hard (way too much, since in a 100 km/h windy day we had to tie the Vespa to a couple of trees, for safety) and the sea foams. Pretty different from those floppy vacations along the Adriatic's flat beaches. Very close to what I call seaside, in my hometown
